  3. My sleep pattern was messed up for a month or so.... I sat up reading old posts on another site before I came here ..... Our bodies are all messed up ...but it does settle ..... Maybe finding ways to help instead of sleeping tablets ,which is never a good idea .... I found Qi Gong on YouTube ...it's a very relaxing form of Chinese Art ... This relaxed me alot ...and I still do it today ... Deep breathing exercises ....Meditation ....there are natural ways to try and help... It sounds like you had this problem before Quitting ... Hope you find a answer which helps you ....

  5. Kris .... Smoking sure wrecks our lives....Glad you found us .... Your with good company .... I watched my Hubby suffer for over 15 years with Emphysema....slowly getting worse ..he smoked until he physically couldn't take a puff.....he died due to complications.... Did I Quit at the beginning of his journey ...No.... I carried on until I was told my feet and I will soon be parted if I didn't Quit ... I found these good folks here ...who Guided me all the way to Freedom ... Most smokers don't quit until it effects them in some way .... You can do it ...stay close and post and join in other folks quits ...it makes your stronger ..
  6. Well done Gus ....100 days is a Quit to be proud of ... Your still though in the early stages ...so your wise to stay on your guard ... I agree with Jill...you have a much better chance of getting a job ,as a Non Smoker... I know it's stressful ...but adding nicotine withdrawal along with the stress would be awful... I wish you well in your job search

  16. Welcome aboard .. The Rewards you get from Quitting are endless..... Read all the posts on the Main Smoking Discussion Board...that are pinned with green .. There are some great tips and loads of info to get you started ... I read Allen Carr too.....it changed the way I saw smoking ...and how it was doing the exact Opposite to what I thought was the reason I smoked .. Quitting with friends is a great way to kick the addiction for good ... You can do it ...believe in yourself ...

  18. Try chewing regular Gum ....it kept my mouth busy .... Did some jigsaws to keep my hands busy ....and Yes Jillars air cigerette.... There is a million things you can do Steven ...and just one you carnt .... Coming here and getting it out helps ...keep coming ...
