  11. I'm sure your condition is different to mine ...due to your hip ... No I haven't go Diabetes.... We do say treat your quit like a baby ...nurture it gently ....it's precious ....

  13. I did have before I quit ... My ankles were black ... Quitting was not a option for me ... Slowly it started to get better ..and less painful .... All I have now is one black bruise ......my reminder ..... And I'm power walking ...

  15. Never underestimate the Power of NOPE !!!! It's a great tool to have in your box ..... I know for me ...once I had pledged my NOPE ...in the morning ...I had made a promise ,and a promise I would not break ...I wouldn't let me or my quit mates down .... Besides ...I was fighting to keep hold of a couple of limbs ...as Ace says ....it's choosing Life with feet or without ...for me ..no brained ... Thank you Dave for starting ,I think one of the most important posts of the day

  22. I have to agree with Jillar... Putting nicotine back in your body has started the whole process again ... We have lots of good information on the Main Discussion Smoking Board ....pinned with green Knowledge ....Understanding this addiction is your best weapon .... Those members who come here daily join in ..are the ones most likely to succeed.... Congratulations on not smoking ...
  23. K ..your no more addicted to any one here .... Don't let your brain overthink ....you can do this ...by sitting on the Train ..and Learning .... Be positive ...What your doing is amazing ... There is only one rule ..Don't stick anything in your mouth and set fire to it .... I told myself to Take Smoking off the Table ..no matter what was happening ... You can do this ....believe in yourself ...your stronger than you think ..

I also found reading Allen Carr the easy way ...a great help ,lots of us here and millions of others .. Keep reading and learning ...Knowledge is power ..it's what you fight the monster with ...
  25. Your right ..your not smoking ..well done ... Try some carrot sticks and celery sticks ..something to munch on .. And not heavy on the purse .
