  10. I suppose an example of how time effects your smoking thinking is this: I went to a concert recently and ordered interval drinks. At the interval we picked up the drinks I walked into the bar. My friend said I’m going for a fag. The good thing for me ? .... it didn’t even occur to me to go outside for a cigarette!!

  16. Hi All Just to clarify. We all use this site as a tool in our quits and it is as equally important to me now as it was when I signed up 6 months ago. I use the site in my way and my monthly post is a good target for me. I have admiration for everyone that gives time and effort to help others but I’m sorry that is just not me. So anyway ....half a year !!! X

  18. 4 months from holiday in Texas !!

  20. Didn't know this existed lol but thanks anyway
  21. 2 months 1 day. On holiday in Crete with all the "I only smoke on holiday" smokers. Complete gits if you ask me. Still I don't smoke even on holiday so they can all bugger off lol.
  22. 7 weeks !!!
  23. 1 month 1 week 2 days
  24. 3 weeks 1 day now. Doing ok. Started to get some shortness of breath and sleep apnea, from what I remember this is to do with my body being used to a balance of CO2 and oxygen whilst smoking. Now I've quit the CO2 is now reduced and my body isn't used to that imbalance am I right? Like all the other things that occur when quitting it'll pass. It's a new dawn.
  25. these are good people who will help and encourage you. Listen to what they have to say stay strong and good luck

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
