  5. Congrats, Lin! What a milestone to have....hope you are doing well and celebrating it in your own special way! Stop by once in a while and give us the scoop!?
  6. NOPE (got 6 inches of heavy wet snow on Sunday night here!)
  7. I will be bagging up clothes for Big Brother Big Sister for Lent - my goal is at least 40 bags donated!
  8. @notsmokinjo - Not quite sure what that means....when I start to giggle then that's enough milk? ?
  9. I grew up doing similar stuff in my neighborhood, @Linda Thomas! Oh, how I loved catching pollywogs and watching them transform into baby frogs! I did not start until 18 either....and didn't learn how to "inhale" until probably 19! I regret all the time I wasted and the damage it caused my body but am grateful that I have had the last 2 years to get myself into a good place both physically and mentally since quitting.
  10. I had my last poison stick right after the doctor at urgent care told me I had a stroke. Imagine this, crazy as it sounds - my friend was bringing me to the emergency room and I told him I was not getting into his truck until I smoked one last poison stick....cuz I knew it would be the last one I would ever have!!!! That was over 2 years ago now!!!! I am so happy I no longer smoke......

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
