  24. Geetarsteve, you are so right about not wanting to go through those first days/weeks again! In the beginning of my quit I did it "one day at a time" and sometimes it felt like "one minute at a time" but thanks to drinking lots of cold water, deep breathing exercises and playing solitaire on my phone....I powered through those brutal times. No matter what trials/tribulations you go through in your life....putting a poison stick in your mouth and lighting it on fire isn't going to help you one bit!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
