  15. Deep breathing, water, walking and I played online solitaire (several different variations) endlessly!!! Still do! After being quit over a year now... discovered a sugarless gum called Ice Breakers Ice Cubes. I like the plastic containers they come in (I recycle them!), you have to flip open the lid to get one or more out....they are shaped like little cubes and there are lots of different flavors.
  16. Congrats, DaveH! Reaching one year is fabulous....cheers!!
  17. Roryplog, good for you keeping to your quit. Yes, it is scary awaiting test results being done to assess all the damage we have done to ourselves with those poison sticks, as I well know. Going through it myself right now also..you are not alone! KTQ!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
