  1. Congrats, Leanna! Six years ....what a milestone! Celebrate and KTQ!
  2. I am headed to a seafood / music festival down by the shore for a few hours and then off to the last beach mass of the summer being held in Long Beach, NY! ??️?Then it's off to a local diner, of course! ?
  3. When at work, would wash hands and pop a few of those Listerine pocketpacks in my mouth...ooh, those were strong! In my office smokers were harassed about putting coat in the communal coat closet....I had a bottle of febreeze in my desk drawer to use on my clothes/coat and would just hang my coat on my own coat rack. Even though I loved a French manicure, smoking would ruin the color so I had to stop getting them and would only get a single dark color....ugh...the things we put up with. For some reason, smoke always ended up in my hair...so always walked around building a few times afterward to try and get the stench to dissipate. Not sure how successful I was but no one ever commented about it, to me anyway!
  4. Just got home from an impromptu bbq my cousin had to celebrate her new deck. Good food, good people, goood music, great weather, gorgeous moon! Only 3 smokers (one of whom vapes) in the bunch!! My, my how times have changed! ?
  5. Good for you, Parsley! Stick close to the QTrain forums and read, read, read and really educate yourself about the nicotine addiction. One day at a time....?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
