  1. Ugh! Too many such issues with them. I'm surprised they're still in business. Hope you feel better soon!
  2. Shanakor, you're doing great. You never know what moments will be difficult and what situations will be easier than you thought. The only preparation you need is your firm commitment not to smoke, no matter what. The happiness you have now about having achieved your first smoke free week will be completely annihilated if you light up. Just have a great time, enjoy your friends, enjoy your freedom and hold onto it. KTQ!
  3. Well you're not whistlin' dixie! Congrats and KTQ!
  4. Are you ready for some football?!? Have a great game day, all! Go Ravens!
  5. Hi Shanakor. I think you hit the nail on the head with your question about thinking of something you shouldn't. As evidenced by the statement at the end of your post, somewhere in your mind, you're still keeping smoking as an option. If you had taken that option away completely, you wouldn't have been having the thought that you'd break or it would be veeeery difficult to withstand the urge. Smoking is NOT an option! NOPE!
  6. Hi Shanakor. As long as you are not smoking you're doing EVERYTHING right! It great that you're posting and relating what's going on for you. You may even find, later on in your quit journey, that going back and looking at your old postings will be interesting and useful in solidifying your quit. It will be a great feeling when you see, in black and white, how far you have come. KTQ!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
