  5. Hi Evelyn. This is my third serious quit attempt and what's made the biggest difference for me this time has been taking smoking OFF the table from day one forward. In past attempts, I guess I had it somewhere in the back of my mind that if it got too too bad I would just have one to keep my sanity. Knowing what I know today, it's easy to see how that strategy was a recipe for failure. Even though I've had some tough times during the past 8 months, overall I've done very well. I know that if smoking had been even a remote option for me, I would not have made it this far. Mindset has been key for me.

  19. 30 minutes elliptical this morning- this time increasing angle every 2 minutes, higher resistance from start to finish. How're you doing, Lisa?

  21. 30 minutes elliptical this morning. My office moved last Friday and apart from all the activity related to that, the new space is enormous and all the walking back and forth from one end of the space to the other all day every day since Friday has resulted in a significant increase in steps- almost 18,000 on move day; hitting 10,000 by 2pm yesterday and by 4pm today. This will be a very good thing going forward.
