  23. Well done Catlover. Sending sympathies about your mother-in-law.....but kudos for how you are handling your quit in the midst of things. Life will always throw us challenges. And we have to teach ourselves how to handle them the same as "regular people" (never-smokers) do. You are doing a great job with this reprogramming. KTQ!
  24. Nice bump. Thanks Sazerac. -Reading and more reading. I spent hours a day with my online support group reading - and educating myself about the addiction in the process. -My online support group. -Reading Alan Carr. -Closet cleaning. -Pillow punching. -Silly little walks: 3 times around the perimeter of my house till I felt more in control. -Regular exercise (a daily walk). -Ridiculous dancing in the living room to favorite tunes turned up loud.
  25. Hi Ela, it's good to see you. Quit Train has been super welcoming to us. I think it will be a great community for us all.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
