This is my 3rd day on the 14. I did feel a difference, not to horrible though, but I did feel the pinch. I have 9 left and plan on using all of them. My doctor would have a cow if I didn't. And I want to. I want to do everything I can to make sure this quit sticks.

I never could have quit smoking without patches. They have been a tremendous help. I just stepped down to the 14mg. Felt a little hiccup, but nothing serious. I know a lot of folks are hard core CT. But that does not work for everyone. Exit High Horse.

Yeah, Reciprocity, it's been ingrained for so many years. It will take some time to get to the new normal. I'm a long way from that. But I'm getting there.

Scan done and results show me clean. I dodged a huge bullet. 38 years of heavy smoking. EFF YOU CIGARETTES!

But, back to the OP's original post - I hid warnings on my packs also. And they say that scare tactics don't work anyway.

Yeah, babs, I did that so many times - yuck. It completely ruled my life.

Hey, thanks, you guys! I feel solid in my quit this time. I had a week before and threw it away on 2 lousy cigarettes that tasted awful and made me sick. What a dope! Thanks again!!

Going for this cancer test on Thursday. I changed my mind about it a few times, and after reading that they get a lot of false positives, decided to cancel, but to ask my doctor first before I cancelled. She told me that is was a good idea to get one - so now it's back on again and I am very frightened. I was a heavy 40 year smoker. My x-rays came back fine, but I'm still really afraid. Anyone here have any experience with this?

What a great post. I've been exactly the same way. When I see it like this, it makes me so sad. And it's funny. I've been feeling really lonely since I gave them up. What a freaking lie that they were my friends. A billion NOPES to that BS, Thank you for that great post.
