There are only three things that would divert me from my vacation frolics. · A volcanic eruption · A missile launch by Kim Jung-Un at the Hawaiian Islands · Reci’s one year smoke-free anniversary So happy it’s the latter.   6. Mountain hiking Saturday (10.3 miles) and Sunday (14.4 miles). Total combined floors on Fitbit = 785. Only drawback is that 6 of my toenails are black and doomed to fall off. Lichen on quartz crystals.

Just want you to know that with education, support and an unshakable commitment you can overcome this insidious addiction. 8 days is a great accomplishment....something to be proud of. Hope to hear from you a lot in the coming weeks and months. You are doing this!

  17. Everyone's experiences are different. The onset, duration, and intensity of cravings differ between each one of us. Our triggers also vary. If you've identified a trigger you can avoid or alter, do it. Right now you're romancing the cigarette. It's important to realize that and use your logical brain to override those feelings. Know that nothing good ever comes from smoking.....only devastation, despair and death. Keep that beautiful 3 month quit going Jetblack. It's such an amazing gift.
  18. Congrats on your decision Antonia. 10 days is fantastic! Lack of concentration, fogginess, fatigue, restlessness are all very common in the early going. I remember those feelings lasting a couple of months quite honestly. It takes your body a while to accept life without constantly pumping 10,000 chemicals into it. Once your body has made the adjustment to being chemical-free, you'll feel like you're on a whole new level......the way you're actually supposed to feel. Keep up the good work. You'll come out the other side a happier, healthier person.

  24. Any progress on getting tickers back in our signatures? I think they're an especially strong motivator for newbies. Quit time: 2 years, 1 month, 18 days Saved: $11604.72 Avoided: 19,487 cigarettes smoked
