  11. You are doing great! I am not sure if it is true but quit smoking lore says that the third day, third week and the third month are problematic, ie the terrible threes. I have read that in the third week a person is going through psychological withdrawal. Have you ever read the famous book by Alan Carr , How to Stop Smoking? I think this is where I read about the Nicodemon that takes several weeks to die, It throws a fit that it is not getting its nicotine and as it dies, it gets crazy. Anyway, this is a great book to read. It really helped me. Hang in there. It is never good to have just one. That is the Nicodemon talking. :) Edit: Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd_MTSQ6kNM
  12. You are going to be amazed how much extra time you have as a nonsmoker. I used to not be able to go for more than an hour at work without smoking. Your concentration will be so much better.

  15. Hour by hour you can get by in the beginning. No point turning back now since each hour brings you closer to squashing the craves for good.
  16. Awesome Jackie! I remember being elated too after I had a few weeks under my belt, amazed that I had finally quit! :) Have you noticed any physical improvements such as a better sense of smell?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
