  1. Good job! Wjen I first quit I went crazy and trwid to clean and organize my entire house. I still have all the crap I bought to organize my office and tax paper work shoved on my closet. I ate a lot of sugar free candies. I kept a big bowl on my coffee table and bags at work.
  2. Great news! I wish you all the best. Nothing like your own place to do what you want!

  4. It's funny how the whisper comes on and off about how great it was to smoke! "Roll the dice; maybe you can be one of the ones who can smoke without dying from it." Stupid.
  5. Happy Birthday Julie!! :)
  6. Hat, saw you at the other place and glad to see your quit. Stay strong!

  13. Thanks for posting. I too had the fear in the beginning that I would crave cigs for the rest of my life and that nothing was worth doing without a cig. This thought slowly slowly faded as time went by.
  14. You will do great!
  15. Hi Tracey! Welcome. :) All of us have struggled here but have managed to quit successfully. You are on your way too. I smoked for more than 30 years. I did everything for this quit: the patch, Allen Carr, the message board, reading, exercising, candy, whining, etc! Whatever it takes is my motto!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
