    New Quit

I am not sure where you live but I got free patches from the state of Florida's tobacco free site. I just signed up and they sent them to me.....I also avoided smoking areas as much as possible . Out of sight, out of mind

  3. Myth: I won't be fun anymore because I won't be able to hang out with my friends to drink and smoke Fact: Smoking doesn't add anything to the party. You can still be with your friends as a nonsmoker. Smoking does not define the friendship

  7. Personally, I did the patches. We all walk our own path. Stay awhile here so you feel like you have a community behind your quit.
  8. WOW what great pictures and how beautiful. Your family looks so happy and fun!!!
  9. Myth: In order to quit, I have to take off work and hide in my house as I will be a raving lunatic for awhile. Fact: Quitting can bring up all sorts of emotions. Many emotions are positive: joy, pride, happiness. There is no reason to "miss" smoking. It's an addiction. Go out and live your life knowing you beat it

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
