  1. I always suggest eating something good instead. What do you have to eat? I felt like smoking just now so I am having a cup of orange tea.
  2. Julie, yey! I can hear how happy you are! Enjoy :)

  6. I agree. I used to get wet all the time trying to smoke with rain coming in the window and rolling down my arm. I could not smoke with the windows closed either as I would choke to death. Lately I have been thinking about my smoking in the car and that it is strange that the remaining "trigger" I have per say is when I am driving. If I would have bet on what would trigger me I never would have thought it was this. But I used to smoke so many cigs in the car, at least three on the way to work (30 minute draive) and two or three driving home. No wonder I associate driving with smoking.

  10. Wow, Paul, time flies! I am so happy for you. 11 months is awesome and soon you will be hanging out on the Lido deck. See you on the other side of the Numbers Game! :) Congratulations!!!! :)
  11. I did too. I thought I was never going to quit. I also felt like I was never going to grow old, or get sick, and that I would remain invincible. I was sooo mad when I ended up in the cardiac unit of the hospital! It ruined this perception! Quitting smoking is my way of fighting back.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
