  19. Laura, it is not unusual to feel like this for the first few weeks. Also, have you been doing any walking or other exercise to help you? Or deep breathing? Can you write down your list of why you would like to quit right now?
  20. Jeff, i have quite a temper and when I quit i was very angry for quite awhile. At first I don't think I was even thinking that straight as for the first two months at work I really had some difficulties with staff and my boss. Now looking back I knowit was the quitting. Then the anger lingered for months. I posted about it here and on the other board. At some point I went back to normal. I do not feel the snap rage I felt in the first few months. May I suggest lots of exercise, deep breathing, mefitation videos on youtube until you feel better. By the way, I also had some really great feelings of intense joy too. I hope you feel this too.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
