Thanks for the replies....Day 5 completed at noon...it is a very tiny bit better...tiny tiny I made a ticker and like what I see ( can't get it on my posts yet though) Making a list of good things right now....quite a few when I wrote them down. Using air cig ..straw style, candy stick style and just nothing style Always busy but even busier now, tired but keep going so no time to get stupid and buy cigs, I hardly allow myself time to get to work, no time to go to station to buy a pack and have that just one I am trying...I want this....on to day 6 soon.....
  3. It's going okay....no it's not....I can do this....no I can't.....it'll get better....probably not One more hour...no way.....food tastes better.....don't know......no appetite I am so drained from this...don't care....yes I do....

  5. Yes, accomplshment and the end of my smoking life. Both. Everyday such a great feeling no matter how hard the day. Bad storms tonight = chain smoking.....but not me though hubby did. Feel so get so great not giving in. Sat and cuddled my doggie. Win!

  7. If interested, I am nearly done with day 4. It's been good and bad, relishing the good. To everyone else just starting out, the end of each day is amazing!
  8. I also like to remember, don't put anything in your mouth and set it on fire! Reminds one how stupid smoking is!

  10. Nope not easy, but we can do this !!!! I am only day 3. Agree with stay busy, ice water, puzzles, cleaning anything....just don't smoke!
  11. Day not bad at all though the morning was hell . Went to lunch with a friend , on foot no smokes . Very busy afternoon at work but don't take smoke breaks never have . Doing fine tonight still have on my patch , have had two pieces of gum today but I don't really like it so that's all . I guess I'm really pleased with the way it's going so far hopefully tomorrow morning will be better though
  12. Feel like crap physically...pretty good mentally. Mental crazies first hour after getting up. But at work for a few hours, doing ok. Different not smoking on my way to work....day 3

  15. Thanks! Wasn't sure that posted, never did find my way around this site, though I love it. I tried to make a ticker, not sure that worked. Really want it. Last 2 hours worse than whole day. Messing around here to busy myself.

  17. Little rough this evening , but I went and took a nice long bubble bath something I never do because oh geez that would cut into my smoking time!

  19. Love going and doing without the "kit" . Baby wipes, body spray, lotion, gum etc ! And this is only my second day, forgot this part....freedom from all that.
  20. Thanks all for the responses and support! Closing in on day 2! Busy...sunflower seeds, water, and cranberry juice. Having coffee now, yes a trigger but it's over. Didn't sleep with patch on, slept in a bit, put on patch..
