  14. Ew, sounds a bit odd... Although chips and gravywork, chips and curry sauce too.... Cheese curds WITH gravy sounds a bit odd.
  15. The reality that if something happened to me, my children would find me. I said it to someone recently... There are so many things in this world that can traumatize my kids I am not going to let my poor health choices be one of them. Scary times Doll. Pleased you quit for all the health reasons but this touches my heart. Good for you mama. xx
  16. I don't postpone pricey but wonderful family days with my babies for days I will never have again! I don't get a horrible feeling I'm wasting money that I need for lovely clothes I don't worry whether my breath smells when I talk to someone I don't ever have to listen to fear of me dying from smoking from my child. I don't have to say no to a disneyland and florida trip this year :)
  17. Wow, poor busy tom when he finds this thread!! Poor dude just going about his work day and BAM, busy in the evening now too :)
  18. nope.
  19. Hi AIne, Do you remember how long your elder tree took to bear fruit. I bought a 2 year old one last year. Spent the summer as a collection of sticks. This year two sets of berries but that's less than half a cup and a rubbish haul. So was curious how many years old your elder tree was before it was worthwhile if you remember?
  20. Cheeky cross dresser lol. I prefer eclectic ;) Just sounds nicer then nutter ya know.... but nutter is nicer then dopey tart?.... My lunacy is growing on ya!! My work here is done :) B(est)Q(uit)B(uddies's) forever hearts and brackets and shiz!!
  21. 72 hours, the same amount of time it took to get nicotine out of your body :) 3 is the magic number buddy!! xxx
  22. This makes me smile my really big "told ya you could" mixed with "yay" smile :) 4 months is a big deal. You thought stress might be your trigger but you have faced a lot of that down now, proving to yourself that it can just be done. The 3 month trudge can be a long one and I'm hoping any day now you'll go through a whole day and not even have a single thought about smoking!! Such an exciting day and in the post for you soon I hope. Massive congrats on your 4 months of freedom. It's a privilege to do this journey with you. xx
  23. We are missing a quit date for Sonic, is it actually 4th Oct? How's thursday panning out for you chaps and chapess's?
  24. To be honest the healing parts have little to do with me, so my "state" is neither here nor there, I'm a channel I guess is the best description. It was just part of reiki to put your hands on people at times and I was aware I would smell of smoke, and that was apparently a really bad smell...but not to me as a smoker. Now I totally get it, smells awful!
  25. Go Evelyn!! Nope for me.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
