  7. 100% agree with your summary Joe. I read all 3 books in a week, I was obsessive as they are just SO well written! Saw the first film and spent the whole time explaining to my other half as he hadn't read the books. Low budget checker of whether people will be interested so I get it I think. (Twilight did the same, Harry Potter didn't thank goodness), but same logic. Pleased to see the 2nd film MUCH better, really enjoyed it. Can't really see how the 3rd book justifies two films...money spinner!
  8. I think at times it's tough. At times life is also tough. If the two are tough at the same time, mo jo has been known to go awol! However, no need to over think it. Just mark time until it comes back. You're doing great not smoking Wendy (and Karen), let that be enough and all you need to acheive for now. Sometimes it's going through those tougher days that makes us hold on tighter, it was certainly true for me. Sending strength. xx
  9. Poor you Chrispy, that sounds bad news. We are weirdly having a super mild autumn (still raining a fair bit though).
  10. Fabulous news!! I do so love a celebration and 2 months sounds like an "all in" kinda quit :) Massive congrats chick!! No matter what we just do one day at a time and the weeks and months just take care of themselves. xx
  11. 10
  12. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? What was your best holiday? What's your favourite drink, alcoholic and non alcoholic? xx
  13. Wow, yes I completely felt the same. However, I always think they serve a purpose in a way, that we can take away we always felt bad for smoking. I think it really says something that every one of us always feels relief when we wake and the quit is secure. I still get the odd one. Guess our brain is still working over time to alert us and correct our thinking. They are rubbish though so I feel for you Kristin.
  14. oh, oops, not tonight then. sounds sad.
  15. You'll miss I'm a celebrity starting, bad luck.
  16. I remember Milly telling me she had been picked on because she smelled of stale smoke! I still well up every time I think of it it! Never again baby girl. I remember talking to people and thinking I hope my breath is ok...it wasn't, I know that talking to smokers now

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
