  8. More info then "one" needed kind sir! Yikes, batman needed for the save.
  9. Swimming with a 4 year old still knackers you but doesn't actually constitute any real exercise. Which feels unfair to be honest.
  10. Goodness Bakon, they're a bit early for bathroom sharing??! Tracey is british you know! We are a classy group and I have high hopes they are still on talking through the door stage. *shakes head at forward 'mericans*
  11. Struggled to answer this as my eyes kept watering, silly eyes :) I am pleased you got the help and support needed and that you can do all the things you do now, and kept your feet. Feet are most excellent to have and hold. Your story is powerful and resonated with me from the first time you posted. I have no doubts you caused that feeling for many many people Doreen, your kind and gentle ways will do that for people. I am happy people helped you so you could contribute to my quit, I get that's selfish but I will also pay it forward so all's fair etc. I think you are a pretty awesome lady and it would seem all who come into contact with you, be it family or online, notice that. You are good peoples. Celebrate every part of your quit, you deserve it! x
  12. lmao, brilliant, shifting the blame and saying nothing! Post divorce ADMIT NOTHING ;) Didn't realize moe the grass was another slang thing. It's tough talking sometimes. Just here confusing americans :) My sister has the most amount of fun teaching slang to floridians now she lives over there! She and I also both really snigger that she works at Gaylord Palms! Too funny!
  13. Ok, here's what your inner junkie is trying to do - create a scenario where if it's pants you can smoke. Here's our new plan, you know I love a list..... Add to it Sus and others! 1) You could go for a walk if their idiots. 2) Come online here 3) Mention to a friend at the party the reason you guys are ex's is an inability to "take care" of a women (and leave it open to interpretation) 4) Throw the mother of all tantrums and throw everyone out of your house 5) Pass out drunk 6) Find a cute guy and while away some time, exercise is good after all Loads of options!! Smoking isn't one of em. You'll be cool :) PS don't smoke, I put your one month date in the calender and I'll be pissed if I have to change the date ;) PPS It might be fun!!
  14. I think I may love him and his f every day, I miss him too. The swear thread feels like a cold and lonely place without his assesments :)
  15. Grassed me up, like dob you in it - is that an english saying then? Means told on me basically.
  16. Bless you Evelyn, good work! Nope from me too, just for today.
  17. 13, lucky for some :) Congrats Nancy. x
  18. Massive congrats for 10 months. x
  19. Hey Gabby, Pleased the trip went well. Re the smoking I think it's probably linked to "returning" to your smoking den for the first time (as in you haven't left since you quit), and like Bandito says it would be a safe place to be a smoker again. It's frustrating for sure but they are just thoughts and they no longer control you. I found the quickest way of getting rid of them is to acknowledge them as a trigger (as in I would have smoked here) and then say out loud or in my head, but I don't smoke anymore. Accepting the thought and then answering it seemed to make it go quicker then letting it fester in my head. xx

I don't think you are being over confident to accept smoking does nothing for you. This is why we suggest educating ourself, you did it before so I just think you were ready... and that's great!! Don't doubt yourself is my message here. It's great to be sure now, others were sure pretty quick (Bakon, sarge spring to mind) and their quits are solid. xx
  21. You lot must try harder :) I confess I joined the TA (englands territorial army) and I was a bit shit lol. My cheify called me private benjamin (from the goldie hawn film for us older ones) and my own mum insisted I leave before I got posted. I was signal core which tell people where to go and I get lost all the frikkin time haha. I confess my 8 year old sister piped up at the dinner table "what's a blow job" when we were kids. My mum blagged it was a trumpet player because he blew for a job ...same sister went, why was martine doing it then?! Damn siblings were grasses. I confess I just love love! I've been engaged 5 times, oops. But only managed to be faithful to one guy, oops! I stole a sweet as a kid, my mum marched me back to the shop saying tell them you're a thief, busted! I always said I never stole anything else but I admit, I did steal a load of victoria plum stickers about a year later but the girl was mean to me so I didn't even count it as nicking. I have 4 perfectly useless professional qualifications where I am indecisive :)
  22. 25 mins yoga and 6 minutes exercise bike, hurting a bit from proper pilates yesterday lol.
  23. Wonderful!! Utterly chuffed tobits for you. 2 is a big old landmark, but your focused quit is pretty powerful in it's own right! Massive congrats, it's all about this quit, you've got this Sandy. xx
