  6. As of August 1st, Canada began it's multi-stage introduction of requiring warning about the dangers of smoking on each individual cigarette. This is a first worldwide. The program will roll out over the next year or so starting with king-size cigarettes then later on to regular size cigs. In addition to the new individual warnings, there will be new warnings on packs and in packs as well. https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/cigarette-health-warnings-canada-1.6923654 I'm not clear how imported cigarettes will be handled. Haven't been able to find clarification on that. From some images I've seen, the short 2 or 3 word warnings are printed on the paper that surrounds the filter portion of the cigarettes. Not sure what is done with unfiltered cigarettes - do they even still sell unfiltered cigs? Wow! I'm so out of touch with the cigarette industry (I suppose that's a good thing?)

  12. What is/where is bootle? A little proper punctuation and other grammatical touches would make your posts much easier to read and comprehend for some of us.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
