  17. For some reason I was thinking about some of the odd regional sayings I've heard in my life. Most are from the east coast of Canada; Newfoundland in particular. Some of these always take me by surprise and confusion as to what they're saying to me, especially with their strange accent thrown in. If you're ever in Newfoundland expect to hear some bizarre phrases like: Who Knit Ya? (Who are your parents) Wadda Ya At? (What are you doing) Where Y' Longs To? (Where are you from) Stay Where Yer To Till I Comes Where Yer At (Stay where you are till I get there) Anyone got any others you've heard at some point? Must be some Aussie or Brit phrases that make you shake you head in confusion?

  19. It must be terribly disappointing to experience a relapse after working so hard to remain quit. I can understand you want to beat yourself up over it but honestly that won't help anything and will only allow your addiction to worm it's way back into your life again making it even harder to quit down the road. Take stock of what's really important to YOU then ditch those nasty cigs and start again. It may be hard but you're worth the effort. NEVER give up on quitting - NEVER,
  20. Oh that first year quit. Beware those seasonal triggers and stay the course All part of the healing!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
