  2. Hours turn into days, days to weeks and weeks to months. It gets easier as it goes along - you'll see :)
  3. Next time you see people smoking outside, you will pity them for still being a slave to nicotine addiction where you have already broken free and are finally in charge of your destiny!
  4. -1 This would not have happened had I not gone out to cut my lawn!

  9. Good you're still sticking with it. Keep your resolve and just take it hour by hour and day by day for now. You\re doing great :)

  13. Good job Jklnhd! Just keep doing what you've been doing and guard that early quit. Try deep breathing when you feel yourself getting worked up. That can help to relax you :) And yes, you really start smelling that stale cigarette smoke on people who are smokers. Be happy that's not you any more. One of the benefits you are already able to enjoy :)

  20. I have not heard of that one. Heard some get constipated which would be the opposite. Perhaps some other cause? We tend to attribute any change in bodily function to our quit because there are changes going on but more often than not, it's just a coincidental timing issue.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
