  2. Jack 1664 - tomorrow marks your 3 month quit anniversary. This is a big achievement being 1/4 year quit. Stop by and let know how you're doing. Maybe pass on some tips to the newbies as to what challenges you faced and how you battled them. Congratulations on getting to this big milestone!

  7. Nice scenery and I bet it was fun too! Way more fun now that you can take clean air into your lungs! Good thing you got that done earlier this month too as it has suddenly turned rainy, windy & very cold at least where I am. You got that one in while the weather was still good :)
  8. Yes - turning into a can't miss watching a game series which is good no matter who takes it. It would really do this one justice to have it go to a game 7. I think I can do 2 more day after "zombie" work shifts. Have all winter to sleep :P

  16. 1:40 AM and it's Houston going back to LA up 1 game. I'm guessing Houston will be putting in the Big V to pitch next game to try and close out the series! Will it go to 7 games tho?
  17. NOPE! NP wears glasses.
  18. Not sure why I'm sitting here at almost 1:00 AM watching this game that is now 12-9 for Houston but I just can't stop now. Only an inning to go!

  21. I was the executor of my sister's Estate when she died a couple of years ago. She was a huge smoker and and alcoholic as well. I had to sell her house and when I went there to get it ready for sale, I found that she apparently laid in bed and smoked all the time because her bedroom was even worse than the pic. you posted. I was horrified when I saw it yet I was a smoker then too so I guess I just justified it by blaming it on her drinking. She couldn't stop smoking because she was an alcoholic. I wasn't an alcoholic so it wasn't a problem that I smoked. I could smoke as much as I liked as long as I didn't drink on top of the smoking :) Junkie thinking at it's most creative!!
  22. Glad you made it through Jess. You KNOW smoking would only deflate you and put you back to square 1. We don't want that do we? You are stronger that this evil nicodemon and you CAN beat it! You are still on the roller coaster part of your quit. Things will look brighter tomorrow so hang in there. It does get easier with time if you just stick with NOPE!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
