  3. Great job these 4 days Steve!! It is great you recognize your own "junkie thinking" this early on. I think the classic one that many of us run into a little way down the road, after we've been quit awhile, is - Oh, I'll just have one for old time sake. It can't hurt because I have been quit so long now I can have 1 without consequence! Just remember Steve, the choice is ALWAYS ours to make. We are never forced to smoke or to act on that junkie thinking. WE are in control of our own destiny - each one of us
  4. ONLY 1 MORE SLEEP .....................................................
  5. Wow - blast from the past - Sonic! How you doin'? What happened to your profile pic?
  6. I was wondering how you were doing CA. I too quit when I had bronchitis and it was really a blessing in disguise because I think that was what kept me off them in the early days. The lack of sleep is really annoying because I experienced that too in those early days. Just get sleep as you can for now. The health issues will not stay with you forever so just ride it out for now. Having smoking become an annoying thought - that's great!! That's exactly where you want to be mentally Stay strong CAquitter. We're rooting for ya!

  9. It is surprising Sparkzzz just how long it takes for our addicted brains to get used to this no smoking thing. I know you can handle this sh*t now so just keep doing it and it will all turn out OK
  10. Not only should they be ironed but ........ the washing technique needs to be addressed as well. There are just no short cuts when it comes to cleaning of the T's.
  11. That's only if there was ever any reason to have a rowing race - LOL.
  12. Yup - thanks!
  13. And .............. here they are!! Imagine that?
  14. They just don't smell the same tho
  15. I thought you were gonna get your a*s blown outta here a couple of times ..... LOL!
  16. I like ironed T-shirts. I would iron my own but .... just too lazy. Ironed T's are the bomb!!!!
  17. Pretty sure we'll all get arrested for "tit-wanking" ?
  18. Ummm ......... I am still working on my "conditions" manifesto
  19. This is where you have to get to in order to keep your quit permanently! It needs to be your choice - not some obligatory thing. You need to get to the point where you willingly make the choice each day not to smoke. Then ...... it's easy!

  23. There's an hour (or more) of your life you'll never get back - lol. Who gets to actually talk when there's 120 of ya?
  24. There is a difference though with March snow - IMO. March snow is wet & heavy. A bitch to shovel and huge flakes when it falls but, it melts very quickly and normally this time of year it will be around freezing in no time so it all goes away. I'll tell you ..... I will take 10 feet of snow over just 1 tornado!! That time of year is here now too and I'll bet it's bad again this year. Be safe all those who live in tornado alley!
