I see a lot of new people signing up here and logging on at least once so if you have gone to all that trouble, why not join in the discussions. Make the commitment to us but more importantly to yourself to finally do what you want to do ..... Quit Smoking It is absolutely doable and the benefits of hanging around here are numerous. There is so much information available to you here that will help you understand what smoking is and how YOU can beat it. Plus, the support of many others that have gone through or are going through the exact same thing as you are is invaluable too. It doesn't cost you anything but your time and, it may just be the very thing you need to help you quit this deadly addiction!

That's great M5! For sure see if you can put something aside to do something special at your 1 year mark! A trip would be a great idea. Smokes were $12.50 a pack of 25 when I quit last year. I don't know what they are now but I KNOW they have gone up. Probably around $14.00 for a pack of 25? I believe in Australia they are like $25.00 a pack or more. I can't even imagine

So has anyone here put the money they save from not smoking away in a special account & actually bought something that they wouldn't have otherwise? I figure by now I have saved $5,000.00. It's just going to other things now I guess. I did not make an effort to put it away and save it for something special. Just wondering if anyone has actually done that. After all, most of us don't quit because of the cost but it's a substantial amount of money we used to spend feeding our addiction..
