  1. ^^^ This is what I take from these social media sites .... knowledge of others who have quit and stumbled along the way somewhere. Thank you Whispers for sharing your story of relapse. I know it must have been devastating to you but, it is helping people like me when you relate your experiences! I hope that gives you some comfort as it is important information to me and others who read your story. This is how we all learn which fork in the road to take

  3. This is true! Many struggle with every breath, amputations due to restricted blood-flow! There are thousands of stories that could be told about the affects of smoking

  5. ^^^ This is why I'm so glad I joined up with a social media "quit smoking" site!!!! I would probably have fallen into the same thought process BUT now I know better. Never Take Another Puff!!! That's the key to staying quit
  6. I'm sorry all you people have lost your original base camp, so to speak but; we here are doing the same thing you people are all doing and therefore - it seems like a no-brainer to me that this should work to the advantage of all of us!

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
