  1. Great job Kermit! The 6 month milestone is a huge accomplishment. You should be very proud of all the work you've done to reach this point. Be sure to celebrate and reflect on how far you've come as you set your sights on the Lido Deck
  2. It's funny for me because if I walk past someone who is smoking, the smell, as long as it's from a reasonable distance, is kind of pleasant to me. Maybe it's just a reminder of what used to be for myself? But like your reaction at the craft show, if someone comes into a room I'm in after they have been smoking, the smell if strong and grosses me out. I guess that stale smell of smoke is what I really don't like. Of course I was oblivious to it when I smoked - lol. One more benefit of quitting

  8. Yes, too many really basic and practical life skills are not taught in school. Substance abuse and addiction is a good one. Oh, here's another .... money management?

  17. This is fantastic news Tammy! I didn't even realize it had been a month already. You have done so well and have been very involved in this community at the same time. That alone gives inspiration to others in building their own quit. Well done my friend and congratulations

  22. So, 12 people have all given you very similar advice in different words. What say you CDCB?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
