  1. Nope Indeed! Gun's no good - BTW! You need to nuke those bast*rds from a safe distance
  2. Yes, you would think the medical community would take note when somebody quits one of the most deadly addictions on earth? Like, maybe next time you go they say; "So Sam! How that quit smoking thing going?" You know. Keep you accountable and what not. Show a little interest/support?
  3. Why Canada is NOT in it!!!
  4. Nope! I don't want to ever be enslaved again.
  5. Hi Zenith and welcome to our family of quitters The frustration and that sense of anger bubbling just under the surface is completely normal as a symptom of your early quit. It may hang around for a while but will eventually ease as you learn how to cope day to day without relying on going for a smoke every hour or so . Until then, just try not to, well .............
  6. Thanks for the post Fizzie It's so important for newbies to read posts from others that have gone through the process. Pointing out how much better life is after quitting inspires others to take the same path. Yes, it's difficult at times but not as difficult as we originally think. Just commit yourself to the NOPE every day. One day at a time and pretty soon, you're 4 years Quit! Congrats Fizzie ?

  8. Ellen, you followed your daughter's (Laytoya) commitment to herself to quit smoking and made your own quit commitment. Despite health issues you have been fabulously successful in reaching the half way mark to the Lido Deck! That you should be very proud of. Hope things are going well for you. Being smoke free is I'm sure a huge benefit to you.
  9. You're now officially able to measure your quit in fractions of a year! Congrats Suz on being smoke free for 3 months! Celebrate this major milestone then carry on your great work
  10. The wife has made so many trips down to the Salvation Army Thrift Store they think she's works there. Don't worry we got the donation bases well covered
  11. ^^^ I recommend LSD for what you are experiencing. It will make you see psychedelic Pizza which I KNOW you will love

  16. I say NOPE! to that AND smoking too!
  17. Cleaning out my basement of 22 years worth of "junk"! You know, that stuff that you put down there years ago because you or your kids weren't using it anymore yet you mistakenly thought you might use it in the future? Guess what? You're lying to yourself or just being lazy is probably the more accurate description. That crap will build up until you're drowning in it! How did we ever believe we would require a Lite-Brite set at some future time? And, that is just one example. There's many more!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
