  1. Yes it is and welcome about the Quit Train. I don't know what site you were with before but as far as I'm concerned, this one is pretty decent with lots of collective quit knowledge and, lots of wacky people too. Regular participation seems to be the key for most. Embrace the discomfort of your early quit because that all turns into a new found freedom, as I'm sure you know.

  7. Sorry I'm late to welcome you aboard the Quit Train Tammy Others have given good advice so I will try not to repeat. Think about your previous attempts and why you relapsed those times so you can identify the same situation should it arise again this time. You will be better able to fight something if you have already thought about it in advance. As others indicated, read everything you can here. Education about this addiction is what will help you the most. Understand why you smoke and how it really doesn't benefit you in the way you may think. In fact, quit the opposite. NOPE is where it's at for sure! Not One Puff Ever ............. as simple as that (not easy but, simple)!
  8. Congratulations Grund on reaching double digits in your smoke free life! You've done well in this contest of mind over addiction and the judges have rendered their decision
  9. I think Portugal beat someone today. Canada maybe? I really don't think we're there this year though ? Anyway; someone named Roberto scored the only goal. They were making a big deal about it. That's what really gets me going because 90 minutes or so and only 1 goal? Watching paint dry is more entertaining ...... I'm sorry but , it's true!
  10. Nope! I hate this addiction. So many good people somehow getting lost on their journey to freedom ?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
