  3. I agree with what Octain said. Once I quit for some time, I just realized that they did nothing positive for me ever. I feel so much better now that I'm no longer a slave to that addiction

  5. Great job Sslip! You've achieved eight months of smoke free life by battling hard against this addiction. And, all the while you've been helping others do the same! Take a little time to reward yourself for being two-thirds of the way to that Lido Deck

  9. Nice job Sierra! Those "smoke-free" days are piling up now! Keep marching!
  10. This change in your mindset and approach to quitting is very important I think. Quitting is 90% mental from what I have experienced. The right mindset is a huge advantage in ensuring success. Glad you are embracing the process

  14. Nice work Wren18! You're two thirds of the way to that Lido Deck now. Celebrate your hard work and achievement before you make that final dash to the 1 year mark

  17. Great work Jayhawk! Celebrate your accomplishment and push forward
  18. French Polynesia (Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and some other Islands in that area). Nice place but VERY expensive. Take lots of $$ & brush up on your French before you go there.
  19. Sorry but I can't do any work right now as I am just back from a very stressful vacation! Physical activity is currently out of the question Too much vacation stress right now! Of course ...... I had to do all the paddling!!! It was very difficult
  20. Sorry I'm late to this celebration but ..... better late than never I've heard so I'd just like to say that you're doing this quitting thing in style and being as active as you are in this place is a blessing to you and to all the others on this site so just keep doing what you are doing ........ it will be one of the best things you have ever done for yourself.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
