  1. Yeah - that's bizarre! Sounds like people are digging themselves in even deeper by looking for shortcuts to quitting. Hey, it's natural for people to want to avoid the hard work and discomfort of quitting but in the end, there really is no other true way to freedom than to suck it up and do the work to quit. Sure it's tough in the early days but it's not as bad as people imagine it to be once you make up your mind and jump into it.

  13. There have been a few, both on QSMB and here on the Q.T., that have influenced others markedly yet passed away from smoking related diseases. Very sad yet inspiring at the same time. R.I.P. jwg & Queen Greenlover!

  19. Welcome to Quit Train tony950! This is a place where all quitters can share information, learn about nicotine addiction and get as much support as they want. You didn't give a lot of information about why you started again. Health issues should be a reason to stop smoking, not start up again so I'm a little confused on that. The real issue is that smoking or quitting is a choice. A choice that you have to make and stay will each and every day. We have a page here dedicated to daily NOPE (Not One Puff Ever) Many go to that page each and every day to pledge that they will not take even one puff for just today. If you do that every day then you will be quit for life. There is a ton of information on the various pages here Tony. I would highly recommend you read as many posts as you can and watch the Joel Spitzer videos. They cover every quit smoking topic you can imagine. Knowledge is power Tony! Gain the knowledge and you will empower yourself to remain quit. Know your enemy (nicotine addiction)!
  20. OK ..... who set off the abandon ship siren? 😡
  21. In case anyone uses this site, you won't be for long! TinyPic is shutting down Due to an inability to support a high-quality free digital service that derives 100% of its revenue from ever declining on-site revenues, TinyPic will be permanently shutting down on September 16, 2019. Oh well. I haven't used it in months so I'm not shedding any tears it was getting awkward to use anyway with pop-ups galore - annoying!!

  23. For a change, we have both ships docked safely well in advance of the double Lido celebrations coming up in a few days. They are both cleaned up and ready to go so, don't anyone muck this up OK? Guests of honor @Kdad & @TobacNO are on their way to the port so let's get the supply chain moving. Food, drinks - the lot! Remember; double up on everything this time
