  2. So, there you have it Del. All the realities about smoking but is that really what you wanted to hear? Plain fact is YOU can quit just as all of us have but you have to want to quit MORE than you want to smoke. It will take time to retrain your brain to function normally without smoking but it does happen for all of us given enough time not smoking. That's the process you too need to follow. No Smoking while that adjustment happens for you so, what will it be Del? It's completely up to you now. One thing I can assure you is you will get all the support you will need here should you continue to participate here on a regular basis. No one understands quitting like quitters. We do get it!

  15. This is fabulous news Tammy 8 months smoke free now - wow!! You're 2/3 the way to that Lido Deck. Be sure you celebrate and reward yourself for all that hard work. The pride you feel as you reflect on all you've done these past 8 months is well deserved ?
  16. Welcome to Quit Train Second Chance I have not experienced this nor have I ever heard of anyone else that has either. Are you sure this anxiety is as a result of your previous quit? I't might be something unrelated. I know my own sleep patterns change from time to time yet I'm not sure why specifically. They did even before I quit so I;m pretty sure it not related to that. My best suggestion would be to seek a medical opinion on this. You'll find pretty much anything you look for on the internet but it's not always the truth in terms of your own life situation. A medical professional may be able to help you sort through this issue and point out some possible causes. You don't necessarily have to follow any medication suggestions. That's your call. Best wished that you find the source and are able to deal with it effectively.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
