Climbing the Rope...repost
Hold on Heather! It really is hard, I have never forgotten that but I also know you CAN get through it Do what you have to do right now to get through these cravings and remember always, quitting will not kill you. Smoking on the other hand probably will!

- Can We Have A Curse It Thread(With warnings) As sometimes I Just Wanna FFFFFFFFFFFF
Jillar, many people are not taking this virus thing seriously. That's unfortunate not only for them but for everyone else as well 😒 Risking your own health is your choice and that's fair. Extending that risk to loved ones is not acceptable IMO. They're making it pretty easy to be safe where I live as nothing much other than essential services are open and there's NO public restrooms open anywhere so your trips better be short unless you're prepared to do your business on the side of the road 😱 On the plus side, our lawns and gardens are looking fabulous this year lol. Lots of yard time since spring has arrived 🤩- chicks or sticks

4 Geez ... chicks are makin' a run 😆- New Here and Quitting!!!
Great choice Nana20! You will never regret setting out on the road to quitting, that I promise you. Yes, it's not easy. You will experience so many temptations and emotions it's hard to keep them all under control but if your commitment is steadfast, you WILL be successful. I don't even know how I made it through some days but you know what? I DID! You can too if you remain true to your vision and commitment. Sounds like you have been through a lot in life so far and quitting is no different. We all have to face the demons of our addiction when we chose to embark on this quit journey. You are NO different from us. It CAN be done! Let me ask you this, based on what you have already experienced in life .... What are the things you cherish most in your life? Did you have to endure hardships to have and protect those things? Of course you did! This is no different. Nothing worth having in life comes easy. Jump on the train and let all these other quitters help you along. We've all been there. We get it!- chicks or sticks
7 The tide does tend to turn every once in awhile with this game- Back, sad and smoking again.
Keep that wonderful list of reasons for quitting close at had so you can read them over and over as the cravings try to convince you to give up on quitting. Those reasons are powerful and they will not change - ever! Maybe even post them up in the "Prerespond To Your Own SOS" thread which is located on the SOS page. That way it's there for you to reread whenever you like.- 2 Months Smoke Free

I trust you are learning more about your addiction to nicotine here Jeff. That might just be the key to a life long quit for you, which is the goal we all seek. Do what you can to avoid those smoking diseases you mentioned by cutting the ties to smoking now .... for good! We can't erase our smoking years but we CAN shape our future by standing up against our addiction no matter how long that might take!- chicks or sticks
