  1. OK so, Here's the story: 1. This one's True! I said coleslaw because sauerkraut is virtually unheard of where I live. It's only available as a dressing for Hot Dogs or Sausages from the food cart venders and I guess if you went to a German restaurant.? And Yes; arms crossed, pouting like a child while I send my food back and request not only that the slaw be removed but that my food be re-plated to avoid any potential slaw-juice contamination. 2. This one's True. My dad found out because the kid that saved me told his dad who told my dad. I got into big trouble over that one. 3. Is a Lie! I have no Inuit heritage in my bloodline. Wish I did cuz I would pay NO taxes Looks like you're up again Lilly

  4. Way to go Dizzy! 2 months is a great start to your life as a non smoker. Keep up the great work and be sure to stay close to this community where we all understand what your going through. It really does help especially at this point in your quit. Be sure to celebrate your hard work because it's paying off big time!

  12. Good plan. I quit on a Sunday morning and then took Monday and Tuesday off work for the same reason. I went in Wed. and within a hour my head was spinning and stress level was pretty bad but you know what? I got through it because I was determined not to let anything get in my way. I faked it until I made it. It took awhile but it wasn't as bad as smoking was making me feel. You will find a way to deal with it. Come here as often as you can to rant or ask for help - no shame in asking for help. We've all been there. Use ALL the tools in your quit smoking tool kit. Quitting is a big deal so make it priority #1 during the early days.
  13. Good work Potts! You're working your way to a degree in Computer Science AND a degree in NOT -SMOKING Both will make your future better.

Better health, fatter wallet and most of all, freedom from having your life ruled by a nicotine addiction. Now THAT'S something to celebrate

  20. 1. I dislike cabbage so much I can't eat any food on my plate until it's removed (especially coleslaw - Yuk) 2. I was within a moment of drowning in a river when I was 7 years old but was pulled out by someone. 3. My heritage is half German and half Inuit (aboriginal northern Canadian)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
