  1. Don't buy that pack @Kdad!!!! The change you need is to be clean again of smoking again. That's what's required. Do whatever you have to not to smoke again. It's right there in front of you for the taking. Don't listen to the nicodemon's lies
  2. I must say ... I'm surprised you succumbed to the smokes again so soon after celebrating your Lido Deck Anniversary but I know it happens and I'm really happy to see you have come back to the train to take charge of your quit & your life again. The story could be a lot different had you decided to just carry on with the cigars. My Dad was a cigar man, smoked them throughout his life, until they killed him Don't make the same mistake Stew
  3. Glad to see you're still at it @Kdad! It's doable yet the early days are not plesant, as you know but the reward for sticking with it is Freedom! Keep fighting and stay on the train where people get what you're going through.
  4. Beautiful Tree Pic Dave!
  5. Hope you're still on your new quit @Kdad! You know deep down inside that smoking won't help anything other than draining your wallet and other undesirable things so kick those thougts to the curb and stick with your quit no matter what. We're here for you so keep reaching out. Quitting is simply a little bit of pain for a lifetime of gain.

  9. Good to know you're staying the course @Penguin! No question, dealing with those nagging frustrations that befall all of us in life at times is made more difficult initially when we first quit smoking because we always relied (falsely) on having a smoke to help us cope but the truth is ... we cope much better dealing with life's frustrations without those damn smokes clouding our reality. Quitting smoking won't illiminate any of life's problems but we are a lot better off dealing with them as non-smokers and that's the truth! So carry on Penguin because every day and every problem you get through without smoking makes your quit stronger!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
