  10. Yup! These weather "anomalies" are more and more becoming the norm The remnants of The storm that hit Florida last weekend dumped a couple hundred mm's (8") of rain on Montreal yesterday in a few hours. It just missed us to the east by a sliver; thank goodness Parking lot in a Montreal suburb; last night
  11. Good to see you're still here on the QUIT Train @Vuk Keep pushing forward and envision all the benefits you're already enjoying. It only gets better! Nope!
  12. Congrats @Doreensfree 11 years quit is amazing and those smoke free years will keep adding up because I know you won't ever smoke again. Hope you found time to reflect & celebrate today
  13. I've been watching this storm as it moved into Fla. and the Ga. You're right ... a real rainmaker this one is. It always shocks me how these storms can continue to make so much rain for suc a long period of time once they make landfall. Batten down the hatches @johnny5, looks like N. Car. is gonna see this one Thursday. Stay safe and hope for the best rain wise Based on the early view I'm seeing around Raleigh mid-day Thursday, the really nasty stuff is southwest of you but still close. Of course that could change by then. Hoping for the best outcome for you! That nasty stuff in the screenshot (purple area) is calling for a dumping of 34.6 mm of rain over a 3 hour period - that's a lot of rain
  14. Your positivity on this quit being THE QUIT is a good thing. Keep up that attitude and carry on day by day. The magic of time will heal your desire for nicotine. Nothing beats being quit!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
