  1. I'm glad both of you are starting again. Maybe think about using each other for special support as "quit buddies". You know, PM each other at times when something relevant comes up? What you both need to focus on is what the circumstances were and what your thought process was when you relapsed. That's the thought process that needs to change this time around. I hope to see ya both around, active on the forum. It does help even if you think you have nothing new to contribute. Often just talking about what's happening is beneficial to you (and others).
  2. 8 Where'd you come from @joe? Been awhile!
  3. Congrats Mac! You're carving out a very steady quit and shaping a healthier future. Keep it up!

  7. Happy (belated) 3rd Quit anniversary Wee fluffy me! Does time every fly by after that 1st year and look at you now; 3 years quit! Our quit date is always a special day in remembrance of that life changing decision we made for ourselves so I hope you had a celebration of some sort to mark the occasion!
  8. Wow! 2 Years already. What a wonderful, life changing journey you have had Mee & it was a delight to share it with you I hope you found a way to celebrate this anniversary. Wishing you the very best now & always!
  9. Had to google that as I don't drink wine so no ........ never happened to me. Have had a a few beer bottle blow up in the freezer when I forgot I had put them in there though. Frozen stuff is way easier to clean up
  10. Great job Linda. Yes, it seems like it's taking forever in the early days but I know for myself, time seemed to slow down in those first few weeks so be patient & hang in there. It WILL get easier. Not all of a sudden but it WILL happen. The key is you just have to stick with NOPE and the magic will happen for you. Treat yourself to something a little special for getting through 17 days

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
