  6. I'm picking # 2; 3 brothers! If you had 3 brothers they probably would have beat the crap outta you when you were kids so you wouldn't be here (if you were the youngest anyway)!

  12. I think they've already done that (better, early education) but not only that, today's general environment that kids grow up in is totally different to what it was when I was a kid. As you said yourself, parents smoked and I know when I was young, even my Dr. smoked right in front of us! "They" could have told me the very worst of everything that smoking could do to me (if in fact they knew it back then) and it still wouldn't have made me stop. Why? I was addicted and young - invincible! Plus, everyone I actually knew and respected smoked around me night and day. Those are the people I took my life messages from, not some stranger on the radio or TV. Nope! Don't think it would have changed a thing for me.

  17. WOW! 4 Years!! Congrats Gary - well done
  18. Yes! Time to celebrate yet another milestone Midmale! The more milestones you pile up, the more distant those memories of smoking will become and yes, that's a very good thing!
  19. 8 I have an issue with football. You've heard the term "pigskin" used in relation to football right

  21. Congratulations on the new addition! Careful when you introduce him to Teddy!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
