  7. Hey Nicole! Congrats on yet another year of freedom from nicotine addiction. Living smoke free - can't beat it eh?
  8. Hi Janice! My sister in law's name is Janice Welcome to Quit Train! Take a seat right here in first class! You deserve the very best. Please take time to explore the site. There's a ton of helpful information here and a whole video library on the subject of nicotine addiction and quitting the smokes. Make an unwavering commitment to quit and follow through no matter what quit symptoms you experience because they will only be temporary and you will have a whole legion of other quitters here cheering you on and supporting you throughout your quit so let's get started. There's only 1 rule - N.O.P.E. (Not One Puff Ever) As long as you adhere to that, you will be successful and you will be free from the slavery of nicotine addiction! There's no right or wrong way to quit as long as you never put anything in your mouth and set fire to it. It's pretty simple. Millions have done it - why not you?

  11. Quitting wasn't what I thought it would be when I quit either. I was always frustrated that I could not see any difference from one day or even one week to the next. The process is slow .... very slow but that doesn't mean it's not happening - it is! You really just need to continue to be patient and do what you've been doing. As Jillar said, when you feel really down go treat yourself. Do something, anything, that will bring you pleasure. Something outside of your normal daily routine. You're saving a ton of $$ by not smoking. Spend some of that on pampering yourself. We all deserve pampering while we're going through the ugly parts of our quit process. Sometimes you just need to step back, take a deep breath and focus on any positives you have seen since you stopped smoking.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
