I never felt I was being lead down the garden path by big tobacco. I smoked because I wanted to. I don't even think I knew I was an addict. Perhaps I was becoming more and more addicted over time by what those guys were putting in their products but I didn't care enough to bother looking into it at all. I made my own choices and although I clearly regret those choices now, at the time I had no regrets.

Such a moving post @jillar. He was a very unique person who travelled the same roads as all of us and yet could not out run his fate. Yet, he did leave others some very interesting insights into the struggles against our addiction. Timeless stuff really.
