  3. Hi! Thanks for all you guys who have been checking on me, you´re the reason I´m back. Finally, today is my quit day and as you can imagine it started awfully. I was being too hard on myself, so for me today is not NOPE but NOPT not one puff today. Every day. But I´m trying to trick my brain and take baby steps. It has been very difcult to even decide to quit. -Nat
  4. I know! I remember what being free feels like and it´s awesome. What am I looking in cigarettes? Peace is not there but I keep going back and then blaming myself about it

  8. Hey guys! Missed me? ;) I left because I had been feeling sick (I have major depression) but I was smoke free, then after that I got mugged in a rather violent assault that really got to me, so I went back to smoking. I smoked for a week. I quit again on Monday so the journey starts again! I missed you a lot! Love, -Nat
  9. Happy birthday! I hope you have a great day and lots of blessings. Hug! -Nat
  10. NOPE! Missed me? ;) I´m a bit sick, but I hope to be back soon
  11. No, I didn´t experience this. I agree that you should get checked, just to know it´s not something serious, because chest pain can be a symptom for a lot of things. Please keep us notified of how you feel!
  12. 1. Never start smoking, you really get hooked 2. You never really own anything or anyone, just seize the day 3. Stop worrying about others, be yourself and enjoy it 4. Spend more time with your family 5. Start saving!
  13. Thank you guys! I´m super happy! Hug to all of you! (I promise to share Sir Garfield for virtual cuddles ;) )
  14. As I approach 2 months smoke free it´s time to stop and think. It´s amazing how my life has changed in only 2 months. I think 2 months is so little time. A baby is just an inch long. In 2 months! Nevertheless my life has made a happy twist and turn in so little time. I´m healthier than ever. I realized something: if I was able to quit smoking I can do anything. I´m unstoppable. That gave me the strenght to keep going with an exercise plan and bike at least half an hour a day. That gave me the confidence to rescue a tiny kitten. I was totally afraid of cats and had been all my life. But when I knew that little (ginger Colleen ;)) furry buddy didn´t had a home I couldn´t resist. Because if I could stop smoking I could lose my fear of cats. And so I took him in my arms and proved once again that I´m unstoppable. Sir Garfield is the cutest, most funny and lovely friend I could´ve asked for. If I could stop smoking I might well can stop drinking that much coffee. I´ve been willing to add some green tea to my day and so I did. Because quitting has been totally empowering. I´m incredibly thankful for this community. Everyday I look forward to wake up, see who´s celebrating that day and feel very happy for them. I look forward every morning to write my NOPE and really mean it. Thank to all of you guys! For the ones that still haven´t met Sir Garfield:

Meet Sir Garfield! I adopted him on Sunday. He´s the reason I´ve been away from the board, I was setting all the things he needs. Isn´t he lovely? -Nat

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
