  1. No feedback on a decision... Am keeping my fingers crossed that no news is good news? Jen, Lee bought that sauce as a gift for one of his members of staff... Seemingly a few F bombs were released at the heat he felt in his mouth... Rofl... ;)
  2. We had rump steak, chips and mushrooms tonight. I did think to make London Broil Colleen but didn't have enough time to leave it to marinate... Next time for sure as I will write myself a reminder. I did however use the brand French's New York Steak Sauce and enjoyed that, so ended well.
  3. Leanne... You know how a link can lead to a link? Well I ended up with this link and once I run out of my current eye primer am going to try this and thought seeing you now have your fabulous palette it might interest you, and our Jen of course.
  4. No Colleen, just a warmth more than direct heat and spice. Our Megan is a 1 on the scale of spicy food and she enjoyed this.
  5. I have found the store that sells the products I'm interested in! It's in a store called Fenwick, in Bond Street. Oh I love Bond Street, never made a purchase in Bond Street as smoking meant that I could never afford to. Well I'm heading to Bond Street, for a mooch, during February half term...that's for sure! I have never understood why men get so excited going to check out new cars... I get it now ;)
  6. So glad you've joined us ;) Oh what a fabulous purchase! My Lucy uses that pallet and creates some fabulous day time and posh shopping looks (she doesn't go out at night, too young..lol) I will ask her what colours she uses. I have the naked basic pallet as the 2 and 3 have shimmer and my eye skin does not look great with shimmer...but you, you lucky thing! You can shimmer away. There are some fabulous you tube videos on looks from the palette Leanna, do you want me to post some here? Or if you do want to find your own please post them here.. I love watching make up videos.
  7. I made up Kung Po chicken last night, from my take away secrets book. Just as good as my local Chinese and a quarter of the price.
  8. Jen... The technique is certainly giving my skin a much needed work out, it really does look plump and flushed now. Did I tell you Lucy said that the Bloggers go mad for her mascara, I will have to ask our Lucy which bloggers she means. Her ELF package has just arrived so am excited to see what she makes of her products. Was chatting to my customer today, she is very well off and only buys Chanel... Can you imagine! .. Lol... Anyway she is not interested in the brands after watching the videos so I will look forward to her feedback, if she does make a purchase. She seems to think the price is likely due to such good quality products that don't damage the skin, and that the products are likely to last longer on our face. Ever February Lee get a bonus, due to meeting work targets, so I am going to throw caution to the wind and have a spend off my wish list...not everything though..lol... Be no bonus left ;)
  9. Oh I will Jen.. Omg how exciting for you. I found last nights , episode 12, fabulous! A very exciting episode....
  10. Hi Rob, not far from you as I'm in Essex. It is normal for some of us to find the chemical detox is quite a rough experience. Hold onto the fact that once you do it, detox, you will never have to do it ever again...that kept me going. This link is a useful timeline link Rob, you might find it helpful http://www.achoice2live.com/quit-smoking-quick-reference-guides/quit-smoking-side-effects-timeline/
  11. I agree with Pippa do it your way. I completely understand the book works for many, but not all. If the patch was/is nothing but a placebo who cares, if you believe it's working and stops you purchasing cigs then it's working. I know lots of people with both cold turkey quits and NRT quits who have successful solid quits... Do whatever suits you. Hope you get a better sleep tonight.
  12. Yes, I found the flash forwards got on my pip too, although... I would consider finishing the season if I was you. It does all come together and is worth all the flash forwards. Viola is fantastic I agree.
  13. Rofl! I creased up reading that Jen! The prices are a bit high aren't they? I think that's why I want to check out the products in the flesh before parting with my money. The girls are off February half term so will look into nipping to London, if my research shows up a stockists as I haven't looked yet. I am already using her technique when I apply my night/morning cream... Not looking ten years younger yet though..lol... Always tomorrow ;) although after doing it my skin does feel good and look plump. I pay £25 a pot for each of my day and night cream so am very tempted Jen. My serum, Clarin's one, is nearly out and that is nearly £50 a pot (normally get as a Christmas gift, don't part with that amount myself) I also liked her powder blushes too Jen, I love the middle colour that is the 'pop' on the apple... Omg Jen my wish list is getting out of control. and breath Sharon...breath.... I wish we lived near each other Jen, can you imagine the fun and laughs we'd have going cosmetic shopping? If you can out with the line, you used above, when they told us the price of very high end items I would literally be crying laughing!
  14. Hello and welcome... Congratulations on your day 3 already, fabulous news. My tip would be keep busy, stay close to the board inbetween keeping yourself busy.
  15. We enjoy this homemade Donner Kebab, not greasy like the ones from the take away and extremely easy to make. I'll post the recipe and picture and have the recipe for the Pitta Salad, from my Take Away Sercets cookbook if any wants it... Just let me know. http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/23670/authentic-turkish-doner-kebab.aspx
  16. I am looking forward to your blog on this Jen, haven't heard of Hard Candy over here so will get my Lucy onto checking this out. She ordered some ELF cosmetics the other day, due by Saturday I think, so am looking forward to seeing how she gets on with them. I am still undecided about this months purchase tbh. I have found an interesting page http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/ and am thoroughly enjoying watching all the videos for her products. So far, in my wish list, I have the beach stick bronzer, Wonderglow (although am sure that the St Tropez highlighter at £10 is the same sort of thing) and the Magic cream, at £70 a pop! But... I know it seems a lot but if it means it does morning and night, and no need for serum, then I am no worse of financially. My wish list is getting bigger by the day! Am going to see if she has a retail outlet in London, as I fancy a mooch and to touch the products first I think.
  17. People's feet, my feet! Phew that's one smell I am never going to be grateful for even after a year and a half! Although I am still seriously grateful for all the other fabulous smells...
  18. Hi Rob I know a few people, 3 in fact, that have done the same as you. They went from smoking to zero nicotine on New Year's Day. I'm an ex vaper and can imagine more, and more folk are likely to use this as a tool so I have no problem with what your doing at all. You asked should you get rid ASAP? only you can know what way your mind works, and what is going to be most beneficial to keeping your quit solid. All I will say is you have no excuse now whatsoever to reach for and light up a cigarette ;) as you have no reason to use nicotine as you are finding out. What I will say is just clock, for yourself, the large chunks of time you are going inbetween reaching for it. In non stressy moments keep thinking that logic and reason over...and that becomes your final escape from the action, once you're ready. Action fabulous news about your SIL... Smoke free! Fabulous...
  19. Happy Birthday... Hope you have a great day xx
  20. Marti I think this one is one to consider... Please excuse the F word as that's the brand name. http://theribman.co.uk/products/holy-**** Hot... Very hot.
  21. Hi Rob and welcome. Sounds like you have got yourself a fabulous and straightforward quit going on there, really pleased for you.
