Just finished, both Christmas and the girls birthday present wrapping...all up straight. Are you, are you on track?

I'm sure for many of us it kept up on track, in those moments of temptation ...the thought of starting mine over kept me on track, many a time. I will never get rid of mine, far to dam proud of it...that I did it, me, after years of riffing and faffing...I did it.

Seriously Doreen, delicious. I had a cocktail mid afternoon and one every night...I have tasted the most delicious flavours. Roll on July so that I can get back, and do it all again.

That's brilliant, only hours away! Mine was important to me too, in my first year so I understand what you mean. I just meant it wasn't my motivator now, so isn't important to me anymore...but will be checking till it gets to the £10.000 mark...self treat time.

I know Barb, there is no hope for me now. All started when these babies turned up on our table...got my head well and truly turned..lol

I might purchase a bottle of wine you know Nancy, as I have quite a few wine cocktails in my book and I might enjoy them. I bought a mini bottle of Prosecco, to make a Porn Star Martini. Had every ingredient except the passion fruit...none at the supermarket! Still....will get to try it once they are back in stock.

I can imagine that was delicious Jenny. I'm the same in that I enjoy the very fruity ones. Although I am partial to ones that are creamy now too. I have made a few Baileys ones that I found delicious. I am not a dessert fan, cakes are not my thing, but have found a few dessert type cocktails that I enjoy after Sunday dinner.

Hi ladies ...it was, you what it tasted like? Holiday...it tasted like that taste you get when you are sat on holiday, relaxed and just so chilled and relaxed. Tomorrow and Saturday are my favourite nights...as they are 100% cocktail nights. I will spend tomorrow excitedly checking out my recipes. Do you guys enjoy cocktails? I'm not a wine or beer fan you see, so they are the only thing I drink now.

School night, I know, but just fancied a night cap. I enjoy a Sex On The Beach cocktail but have just made my own version. I replaced the vodka with Blue Curaçao and the Peach Shnapps with Maluibu Rum. Delicious! Still added the orange juice,pineapple and cranberry. Had a beautiful blue colour so I'm going to call it Sex In The Sea....I think I might be onto something. Try it...the drink of course!

Just shows you doesn't it? Yet we knew they weren't free...but kept handing over the money for all them years. What fools...but fools no more..wink.

I agree, not important, but a thrill non the less to see. Mine has gone on trips to Tenerife, money very well spent.

If you have one of course. I haven't seen my in ages, my goodness I noticed it and it said 27,514 cigs not smoked, 27,514! I mean really! I couldn't imagine smoking one let alone that amount, dear gawd imagine how many I have smoked in my previous life, best not actually. Then I've seen I have not spent over £9,614 on them (thank goodness!) Beggars belief, now at least, that I would even contemplate parting with that amount of cash, on Shiite. I don't need my ticker as I don't give smoking a second thought but I'm going to keep it, just to see what I would have wasted had I not got my head out of my backside, and stopped. Check yours...if you haven't already.

Good news, in fact great news....the girls reports came today and they are on track for their expected GCSE grades. Their hard work is paying off.

And if you're waiting and thinking I'll quit on Jan the 1st why wait? I mean all that does is make the ones from now to then seem more important ....because they will be the last ones. It gives them far too much importance. Get cracking now I say, no time like the present...a Christmas present to yourself. I hope that you do....

Cocktails.....didn't drink during the first two years of my quit...making up for it now with my homemade cocktail weekend treat.

Congratulations.. You must feel so peaceful and content now, almost take it for granted (if you know what I mean) I can imagine the fact that you where once a smoker must seem a lifetime away xx
