  5. Haven't had a Boob Tube since 1976 (?) when I tossed a Husband's B/W portable out of a second floor window. Smithereens on a meadow below. Bliss. Didn't do much for Marriage, though.
  6. NOPE is Delish !
  7. I have been secretly at the loom, warp-ing and waft-ing yards of El Bandito Plaid for your new kilt. Ready Soon but, now wishing you plenty sips of Whisky de Islay for your Seven Months of Freedom. Beautifully done ! Keep that Sporran swinging, won't you ?! Love, Sazerac
  8. Hey Now, I have been riding the rails of Quit Train like a damn hobo since its inception. Now that my first year of nicotine freedom is approaching, I bought a ticket to ride in luxury. Good thing too, I have a lot of good people to Thank. Everyone ! I thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, experiences, foibles, and humor ! You have helped to make my quit, dare I say, Easy ? No, not all easy but, not near as hard as I once believed. Never thought I would quit, never ever. Then, on a whim, I dared myself. I said, "Sugar, you think of yourself as a strong woman but, you're not even close. Just look at you, you're a friggin' JUNKIE !" I read and read everywhere and reading still. I watched Joel Spitzer. I watched Allen Carr. I drank the NOPE cool-aid. (Delish) I saw all of YOU succeed ! I ate too much, dammit. Now, proud to be Strong and so Free. I hope to give something back to y'all, for sure, and perhaps, provide a shard of courage to those still enslaved by nicotine. Thank you so very, very much Train Riders, y'all are the Absolute Best. About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
