  3. yep straight down Market ? Street before the 1906 quake. The Ferry building straight ahead. Beautiful city was crushed and burned that year. Thanks for the link. There are some of London around this time in the public domain, I will hunt them up. I think a Liverpool, too that Doreen would love. Love this stuff. 7. wow, Nancy. Why does this surprise me. Well, no surprise. Damn. I had a feeling it wasn't as hard to quit smoking as it was tauted to be, We sure get set up and not just by the addiction. Think I'll take my brain for a wash. I wonder what the success rate is for QTrain. May it get stronger and stronger.

  13. I have never been 'there' either, only heard about it. Today, I have learned a lot about people's experience around a certain time in a quit. This is important to me and I love the resource of human experience, QTrain provides. We all bring something to the table, something that may resonate with another quitter and help them in some way. Thank you QTrain.
  14. Sarge said, "And because you asked (we don't pickle Cayenne, we dry it - but there's plenty)" I am still using home dried Cayenne...but, damn the cayenne I pickled one year was GONE in a heartbeat. It was SO good. If you are into a capsicum sort of explosion. Butterfly caterpillars wiped my crop out this year...nice pretty worms turning into Butterflies don't taste as good as pickled Cayenne. A secret ingredient in many dishes. I also stash the dried in Olive Oil.
  15. What a story, (((((Sarah))))). I admire your strength and courage and Tiger-ness. I get so mad when I hear this shit still happens. I get really MAD. I have been lucky but, almost all my girlfriends over the years have an abuse story...This HAS to change. WTF !!! You are changing everything for the Good, dear one, and I am SO proud of YOU. My friend, Sarah, is a Tiger. Love, S an extra Mami for you.

I think it is Drunk on all the richness and too much N. Loofah is a squash thing, edible when small, big dried ones are those groovy sponges. Haven't grown them in years and never ever had a behemoth like this. Happy Harvest to you. Please send some pickled Cayenne for a perfect Bloody Mary, won't you ? S

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
