This place is a wreck and it used to be a swell place for light banter and a greetings throughout the day. Bakon proposes sticks get +2 on Thursdays. This is no skin off my nose, it will just take additional math in my head on Thursday. I say fine, baby, no big deal. See you next Thursday (to beat the pants off you) :) I can also choose to play somewhere else on Thursday. Freedom is Bliss. As for today, I shall start with olive branches woven into a BIG FAT 0 Association of Free Sticks/Chicks Game
  4. This a fine state of affairs ! Hope there is plenty of DELICIOUS Bakon lest we Starve. Because the Eggs are in a fine state.
  5. 9 so great to see Fay :)
  6. Beacon, you can do this easy peasy. I eat really well and pretty clean and it doesn't take any time at all. It is only when company is coming that I pull out all the stops and gild the lilies. :) Often on Sunday, I roast a yard bird (with lemons and garlic yum yum this week). roast with carrots and sweet potatoes, other veg and have them through the week or in soup. or put a lot of veg on to steam. When you are done with Sunday dinner, pull the meat off the bird and set aside. Toss bones in Crock-pot. Put water in your roasting pan and heat up, scrape all that good gunk up. (this makes clean up a breeze) Transfer to crock pot and add more water if necessary to fill 'er up. All through the week you will have a delicious soup. add more veg or ? during the week Leftover meat for salads or snacks or ? Dinner is served. bon apetite. Beautiful salad of greens, a nice clean soup du jour in your crock pot. a psst pssst pan sauteed fish, chop or, veg. No time to roast a bird ? no worry. a big beautiful salad. a pssst psssst pan sauteed fish or chop or slices of Eggplant or Zucchini , or Tofu. Put on plate, throw a handful of mushrooms or ? with herbs, a slosh of wine and bubble...pour over. Yum. An Omelette. Drink a GIANT glass of wine. If I don't want to fire anything up, I eat a bigger salad with leftover bird and cold veg. or I drink more wine. More wine for peaceful dreams. Love, S

  11. I lurked for a long time here on QTrain. It was the way I quit. I would have had an easier quit and had MUCH more FUN had I joined earlier. That said, my quit is now rock solid after joining these wonderful people and now I am hopefully helping others find their path to Freedom. You will join us, won't you ?
  12. Good Thing we are Not quitting Caffeine. Heads would roll , were that the case ! Here, have Five Pots of Cafe with Midge, won't you ? and here, a Caffeine song by Emmy Lou and Rodney Crowell.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
