    Cputer crap

I only know a little. You don't have to upgrade every year, I am still working on a laptop with Windows 7, :P Neanderthal and Proud ! I have never gotten Windows to do the email thing so I have Google Chrome as the server and use regular GMail or Yahoo for emails both of which give you folders, storage, address book, calendar but, I like gmail best because I find it easier to read and not as many ads. Install an anti virus program, there are lots of free ones, I have McAfee but I am mad at them for their pop up ad/reminder crap. If you are on message boards often, install a cleaner program like CCleaner to tidy up, at least once daily. I have the free version. Get an ad blocker there are lots of free ones, maybe it's just me but, the ads do my head in ! I have learned by trial and mostly error and found useful information from Kim Komando, America' Digital Godess She used to be on the radio here and her website is the bomb. Eye candy too, if that interests you at all. :)
  5. Congratulations, Boo Four Beautiful Months of Freedom !
  6. I had my Fun, a virtual menage a trois .
  7. Welcome back, I Can, your honesty is important. Your accountability to yourself, essential. We are dealing with an addiction to Poison and need to be as serious as a heart attack. Alcohol is a factor in many, many relapses (or whatever you care to call them) We all would advise treading very carefully in the realm of alcohol for the first year, for sure. It all comes down to NOPE NOPE NOPE. I am amazed at how quickly our brains re-ignite our nicotine receptors, re-ignite our addiction. I know this, I accept this but, it still astounds me. The visual is compelling. Not One Puff. EVER. I am so glad you are still on the QTrain, good on you for climbing back on quick. Please be kind to yourself. Your self hatred is misplaced, hate the addiction. Love yourself. Hate the addiction. Love yourself. Love yourself and stay Free, we are all on your side. S

    Day 1

Your blog is a great tool to document your journey and stay current with yourself. This will also be helpful to other quitters, watching your progress, hearing about your techniques, successes and stumbling blocks too. Each journey is unique but, there are threads that link us all together.

1 nothing wrong with a few wins for the sticks to keep up (ahem) their moral etc. I'm unplugging, too much lightening too close :o
  20. No. I don't remember the spankings (I was probably under the train or out saving lives). I only remember y'alls ugly butts being repeated flailed and Chicks being circumspect about it. :P

  22. Petra, did we loose Kendra and Karen to smoking ? Not a good Spring for the 'K's', :( I'd say One is the lie and that pooch has two perfectly good eyes.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
