-2 Joe's back and i think he pulled Boo out from under the train so, Chicks must be vigilant.
  3. Poisoning people in my home. Why did my houseplants die ? You guessed correctly. Trashing through my ashtrays or garbage for stogies. Running frantically through airports to smoke between flights or sitting in that smoker's prison room. Having smoking constantly on my mind ! It was complete piracy ! Gah !
  4. Go back to the basics, Evelyn. Read and watch and learn about your addiction. Start with This. Begin with Number One ! Look and learn with NEW eyes. This is a NEW day. Take things one baby step at a time, it is like learning to walk again. Soon, you will be walking with straight shoulders, chin up, tits first and a big ass confident smile on your face. No room in That woman for Poisons !
  5. ! ! C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! HOT CAKES ! I thought you might need a new hair-do with all this celebration but, I left all your Sausages in another thread, oh dear ! So, be sure to LOOK HERE for the meaty messages.
  6. Joe said, "Lots of walking would be good..." Nancy said, "I could send prayers and tequila?" I guess walking to the liquor store instead of driving your lawn mower like George Jones used to do ? Pain SUCKS. So sorry, Joe. :(
  7. Cacophony a discordant, loud, harsh commotion of sounds

  17. As deep as I am feeling in my quit (nearly 3 years), I can ALWAYS attribute being 'twitchy' during what used to be a time to light up to HALT. Hungry, Thirsty, need a few deep breaths of Oxygen. Angry, Nervous, Happy, Celebratory, Emotional Lonesome, Bored, Shy Tired. Need a Break. There are more reasons than those listed, of course, but, I can't attribute a signal for something my body/spirit needs to a nicotine crave anymore. The link no longer brings my brain to tobacco first, it brings up a question....'what do you need ?' This has been one of the greatest gifts of being nicotine free - getting to know my basic human needs...what a concept ! Now, I am reminded of my old Habits. "Oh, I always smoked Here", "I always smoked after This" but, it is an old memory with no attraction and no unfinished business. That was then, This is Now. I don't smoke.
  18. Lots of meat on display, Cakes. Please show yourself !

  22. What are you doing in preparation these last 6 days other than poisoning yourself and others, including flora and fauna ? If you want to 'do it right this time' all you have to do NOW is Never Take Another Puff.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
